Dinglinger, Johann Melchior (1664-1731).
A goldsmith and jeweller born at Biberach, near Ulm, Germany, who is 1693 settled in Dresden and in 1702 was made Court Jeweller by August II, Elector of Saxony. There, with his brothers, Georg Friedrich (1666-1720) and Georg Christoph (1668-1746), and his son, Johann Friedrich (1702-67), he planned and organized the Green Vault at Dresden. He created many elaborate pieces, such as jewelled aigrettes as adapted by himself, and contributed to the revival of the art of enamelling jewelry.
O creaţie incredibilă a lui Dinglinger, este numită „Tronul lui Aurangzeb”, pentru care-la vremea lui-a luat o groază de taleri. Expusă la Dresda, Gruenes Gewoelbe.
